Our Wineries

Australian Vintage Limited boasts wineries in all major wine producing regions across South and South East Australia, with further access to fruit from across the country.  Five state-of-the-art wineries operate all year round.  Our large and technologically advanced wineries are industry leaders, whilst our boutique wineries specialise in the production of unique varietal wines.

Buronga Hill in the Sunraysia district of southern NSW is one of the largest wineries in Australia, offering a 135,000 tonne capacity.  Using the latest technology, this batch processing plant is renowned for its commitment to efficient and ‘enviro-friendly’ winemaking.

McGuigan, located in the Hunter Valley, focuses on small batch production. Crushing 3,000 tonnes per annum, this winery specialises in the treatment, maturation and bottling of super-premium wines.

Nepenthe was the second winery ever to be approved in the Adelaide Hills and established in 1994. Situated at Nepenthe’s 24-hectare vineyard at Lenswood, this purpose-built winery enjoys ultimate flexibility and small tank sizes.

Tempus Two, renowned as an innovative winery, specialises in hand-plunging of reds, open vat fermentation and production of lesser-known grape varieties. Its architecturally designed, state-of-the-art Hunter Valley facility produces in excess of 100,000 cases of wine per annum.

Yaldara celebrated 60 years of Barossa Valley heritage in 2007. Famed for continuing to nurture some of Australia’s oldest vines, Yaldara specialises in premium wine production from dry-grown vineyards and small batch processing through its traditional open-top fermentation tanks.
