Adelaide, October 10, 2008: McGuigan Wines was today awarded five trophies at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show for its 2005 Earth's Portrait Riesling.Receiving top recognition as ‘Winemaker of the Most Outstanding Red or White Wine In Show’, the wine’s creator Thomas Jung also won trophies for ‘Best Riesling In Show’, ‘Best White Wine Under $20’, ‘Best White Wine In Show’ and the major trophy for ‘Most Outstanding Red or White Wine in Show’.McGuigan Earth’s Portrait Riesling shows wonderful toasty characters and the 2005 vintage is an excellent example of wines produced in the Eden Valley.
